Brice D. Schmitmeyer
Brice Schmitmeyer began working in civil design in 1996. As President, he provides the day-to-day leadership to the engineering design staff. He handles the overseeing of marketing efforts, helping clients with funding for projects, managing staff, project planning, and department management. Brice has experience working with cities, villages, counties, and townships. He provides oversight and help to project managers and designers.
Craig W. Mescher
Craig Mescher began working as a Project Manager in 1994. He has experience with many types of municipal engineering projects. Licensed as a professional surveyor, Craig reviews and signs all surveys performed including topographical, right-of-way, boundary, lot splits, subdivision plats, as-built, and ALTA surveys. A few types of survey equipment he is skilled with are GPS technology, Total Stations and Robotic Total Stations.
Brian M. May
Brian has experience with multiple types of municipal engineering projects. He began working as a Project Manager in 1994 handling the design of bridges, water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, storm sewers, streets, and roadways. Brian has provided design services for many municipalities and counties, along with being skilled at working with administrators and engineers to achieve the best results for our clients.
Craig T. Knapke
Craig Knapke is a talented and detailed engineer who understands what it takes to deliver projects on time and on budget. He spent three years as a surveyor on various waterline, sewer extension, and subdivision projects before becoming project manager. Craig is skilled in the planning, design, and project administration. Included in his resume are water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, storm sewers, roadways, park master plans, subdivisions, site designs, and hydrology studies.
Nancy K. Tobe
Nancy Tobe began working as a Project Manager in 1996. Nancy has experience in the design of schools, recreation facilities, site development, community infrastructure including wastewater collection systems, storm sewers, and street designs. She has worked with numerous counties, cities, and villages. Nancy has demonstrated the ability to provide a detailed design for multiple types of projects.
Matthew P. Lefeld
Survey Crew Chief
Matt Lefeld joined our group in 2000 after graduating from Sinclair Community College. His experience includes traffic studies, subdivision development, construction staking, topographical surveys, and project inspection. Matt oversees surveying projects and provides design services for water systems, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, streets, and roadways. He also provides construction oversight on many projects.
