The Village of Middle Point contracted Access Engineering Solutions to replace its 1950 water treatment plant. Many deficiencies were jeopardizing the village’s ability to provide adequate, safe, and potable water. After developing a preliminary engineering study, we then proceeded into funding coordination, detailed design, bidding, and construction administration. The water treatment plant’s condition required the project to progress quickly to meet Ohio EPA mandates.
The new Water Treatment Plant includes an aerator, pressure filters, pressure softeners, high service pumps, a chemical feed system, and an automated control system capable of producing 115,000 gallons per day.
